Bob Schulhof grew up in the Midwest, attending college and law school before joining the US Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Bob served for over six years on active duty as an attorney for the Navy, representing Sailors and Marines before courts-martial, as well as advising ship and installation commanders in areas as diverse as the Persian Gulf, Australia and Hawaii. Bob left active duty in 2000 and moved to Oregon, a state he fell in love with while still in high school in Illinois.

Since coming to Oregon, Bob has continued to hone his litigation skills first as a Deputy District Attorney in Yamhill, Oregon and then as an attorney in private practice and as in-house counsel for a major insurer. Bob joined Kivel & Howard as “of counsel” in 2016 bringing over 20 years of litigation experience on matters as diverse as personal injury, product liability, contract disputes, business litigation, real estate disputes and construction defect claims.

When not at Kivel & Howard, Bob enjoys spending time with his family and continues his work with the US Navy, as a Reservist.
